Why should you advertise your jeansy business in the Net?

Strategies for jeanswear manufacturer directed at a wholesale customer:
  1. Purpose - to get an order from large-scale retailer,
    who will mark the product with his brand and sell it on his own.

  2. Advertising directed at multibrand shops.
    The purpose is to break into market with jeansy product
    made by the manufacturer's pattern and marked with his brand.

  3. Franchising - sale under manufacturer's brand.
    The purpose is to make franchisee:
    - pay for the selling licence,
    - buy the first consignment of jeansy garments,
    - take shop equipment with franhiser's logo.
Strategies directed at a consumer:
  1. Building brand value.
    The purpose is to grow a known and desirable jeansy brand.

    Reasonable, rational arguments are not useful at all.
    Can only bore a potential client and make him NOT buy.


    Advertisement should use verbal and pictorial associations,
    short and memorable slogans, funny sayings, wordplay and puns,
    contemporary cultural patterns.
    The wrong patterns are the best.
    Those are always noticed and well remembered.

  2. Support for retail trade network owned by jeanswear manufacturer.
    In this case the advertisement is directed at the end user of jeans trousers.
    As a consumer I want to spend my money quickly and without effort.
    I should be given two informations:

    Where is the nearest shop?
    It's the first question I ask, when I go to spend money.

    What can I spend the money for?
    I should imagine the product before going shopping,
    so drawing (*.png) of jeans trousers, or posterised photo (*.jpg)
    is necessary.


    Jeansy garments on the picture, after beeing digitally refined,
    looks much more better than the real ones on the shelf, in the shop.
    So - it's much more better if the problem "Buy or not to buy?" is resolved
    by me untill I am sitting in front of a monitor screen,
    watching perfect images depicting less perfect jeanswear.
    When the decision "To buy" is already made, only dedicated seller could make
    me NOT buy.
How to deal with customers from the former Soviet countries:
  1. The advertising should exploit American tradition of jeans.
    For a Soviet Man - he has got money but mentally is still a Soviet Man
    homo sovieticus,
    jeans trousers are a symbol of American lifestyle,
    something desirable because strange and unknown.

  2. The advertising of jeanswear is run nearly exclusively in English.
    It's a MISTAKE.

    You should advertise your jeanswear in client's national language.

    Otherwise you can NOT exploit his cultural patterns,
    there is NO effect of verbal associations,
    the advertising slogans are NOT properly memorized,
    and the potential client does NOT feel the necessity to spend his money
    on your product.
